How Does it Work?
- Initial Call: When you first call our office, you will be greeted in a friendly manner and asked a few questions that will help during your consultation. You will be scheduled for your consultation on the earliest and most convenient day/time. We can meet you at one of our locations around Florida, or we can schedule a virtual consultation. If you choose a virtual consultation, we will explain how to take the pictures we will need to assess your unique hair replacement needs and how to submit them to us via Email.
- Remote or In-Person Consultation: If you are close to one of our office locations for an in-person consultation, then that option is the best way to give you a thorough examination. Or if you prefer to work remotely, these consults will currently be accomplished via a phone call with you in your home to eliminate the need for you to travel until we schedule your procedure. Jose Schmidt, our Patient Education Director, will spend as much time with you as needed to teach you about the hair restoration process and make sure all your questions are answered, whether it is in person or in a remote meeting.
Consultation Outline:
- Review your patient forms
- Listen to your hair loss experience
- Explain the hair loss process
- Conduct scalp analysis. (If working remotely, we do this by reviewing the photos you submit.)
- Explain the hair transplant procedure
- Inform about medical therapy options
- Doctor gives hair loss analysis and hair restoration recommendations (whether therapy and/or surgery)
- Patient is given pricing game plan based on recommendations
- Your procedure is scheduled, and we will inform you of the enhanced safety protocols that we are following during your visit to the clinic.
Consultation Follow Up:
Unlike other clinics that pressure their patients into making a decision, we focus on making you feel comfortable and teaching you about the hair restoration process. Whether you’re ready to make a decision to move forward during your consultation or need more time to “sleep on it,” we are ready to be of service when you are ready. If you don’t make your decision during your consultation, Jose will follow up with you within 2 days to check if you have any further questions.
- Procedure Scheduling During COVID-19 Outbreak: We are scheduling patient procedures as appropriate for the client needs. We have enhanced safety protocols in place, and our staff will answer any questions you have regarding scheduling your procedure, the measures we take to enhance your safety and any questions about recovery.
- Procedure Day: Our experienced staff will make you feel comfortable throughout the entire day. They will explain each step along the way, always keeping you informed of the process.
- Follow-Up Instructions: Once your procedure has been completed, you will be given a list of important post-operative instructions for you to follow. It is imperative that you follow these step-by-step instructions in order to expedite your healing process and give you the maximum results possible.
- Post-Surgery Follow-Up: You will receive a follow up call from one of our staff to make sure you are comfortable at home. We will also schedule your 4-8-12 month follow-up appointments so we can keep track of your progress and results.
